How does the course work?
We know that every student is different so the first step in the Platinum Package is a 30-minute call with our director Shelly Cornick so that she can find out more about you and your IELTS needs. Together, you will create an overall study plan so that the path to your target score is clear.
Shelly will also book you onto your first intensive course and walk you through the My IELTS Classroom website, so you can confidently start signing up for live lessons and working through our video library.

Throughout my entire life I had never been addicted to anything until I found the My IELTS classroom site. 😁
I needed to get 7 in all four parts of the exam in order to move to another country and work as a doctor there. I had been struggling to get a desired score in writing and found myself thinking that it would be almost impossible. I changed my mind after starting working with Shelly and her team.
I bought the Platinum subscription option to cover every part of the exam. The intensive courses allow me to look deeper into the structure of the listening, reading, and speaking exams and to understand how to complete the tasks effectively. Therefore, during the exam, I felt totally confident and ready to face all challenges and was able to score a 9.0 in Reading, an 8.5 in Listening and a 7.5 in Speaking.
My main worry, though, was writing, but the package contained a large number of writing assessments, which alongside the video lessons saw me improve quickly from my first assessment score of 6.0. Each piece of marking is a masterpiece with exhaustive explanations and advice that helped me to improve in each one.
Working with Shelly in the one-to-one lessons was my favourite part of the course, as she is able to break down the most sophisticated concepts and present them in a very clear and practical way. She is extremely supportive and humane, always ready to back you up if you have any problem. Finally, in the exam, I was able to score a 7.0 in writing, which meant that I had an overall 8.0 and am ready to move forward to my new career abroad.

At this stage, I just can’t use any words to express my thankfulness to you. I’ve been worried about IELTS for a long time (at least 3 or 4 years), especially since I only got a B1/B2 level in UKiSet when entering the sixth form last year. However, thanks to your help I’ve now got 8.0 overall, with 9 in Listening and 8 in Reading (Yes, I got 8 despite there being three sections of T/F/NG). For writing and speaking, I achieved two 7.0s, so this meets all my university’s requirements!
Your videos about writing are just fabulous! With the interesting openings and endings (like the “why are you still watching this” after essay practice videos). The techniques are just super useful (I think it is the technique that helps me in my writing). Not only did the videos teach me skills, but they also gave me confidence in learning IELTS. With the BGM, effects, grammar and vocabulary geek, I didn’t feel bored when watching the videos – it’s just like watching YouTube videos for fun! Perhaps the only pain is to do the practice activities, but they are definitely useful.
Moreover, the skills taught in the intensive courses are also very useful, especially in the reading course. After learning I could do the heading/content matching without any difficulty (and all correct) almost every time (This section is a nightmare for many of my classmates, but I just find it super easy after attending your course!).
In conclusion, you are the BEST teacher I’ve ever met (there is no “one of” before!). It’s very weird that I felt a bit sad when finishing the last video of tasks 1 and 2 as your lessons are so interesting and interactive. THANK YOU!!
How will the course start?
We always ask that our Platinum students complete the first assessment for writing and one mock speaking test at the start of their package, so that we know your exact starting level and what we will need to focus on most to accelerate your scores in these areas.
Once we know your current level, you will start working through the writing course under the supervision of one of our IELTS experts, watching 4 – 7 lessons at a time before submitting your essay, report or for marking. This is the best way that we can help any student improve their writing as we can teach you the skills you need in the video course, and then check your personal progress in the marking.
At the same time, you will be attending our daily live lessons and the 5-day intensive courses for speaking, reading and listening.
Our daily live lessons give you the chance to interact personally with our IELTS experts
Each intensive course runs once a month with just 8 students, but we give our Platinum Everything students priority seating, so you can choose the course that best suits your timetable. You are welcome to join all three courses in one month if you have a tight deadline, or spread them out over a longer period of time – the choice is yours.
Finally, once you have completed all of your marking and the thee intensive classes, you can activate the massive 6 hours of one-to-one lessons included in your package.

Having completed the other parts of the course, we should know by now which areas you still struggle with. In our one-to-one lessons we will trouble-shoot these problem areas together and discuss exam skills and techniques to build your confidence further.
